The GA35 Vapor Pad humidifier filter (also called vapor pad) helps keep your humidifier running smoothly. It plays an important role in maintaining the ideal humidity level for your comfort and health, while helping to improve the quality of the air you breathe.
Recognized efficiency
Easy to install, the GA35 Vapor Pad humidifier filter acts like a sponge, absorbing water that is then released in the form of fine droplets to humidify the dry air in your home during the heating season. When the warm air of your furnace passes through the filter, the water it contains evaporates inside your home, thus balancing the percentage of humidity in the ambient air.
For optimal comfort, in winter, we aim for a humidity level of 30%. Indeed, air that is too dry can cause many discomforts (irritation of the mucous membranes of the nose and throat, dry skin, chapped lips, breathing difficulties) and even cause deterioration of your property.
The GA35 Vapor Pad humidifier filter is easy to install and demonstrates optimal efficiency until the last few days of use. It’s good quality, stronger and more durable than the humidifier filters sold in big box stores.
GeneralAire® Quality
The GA35 Vapor Pad humidifier filter is made by GeneralAire®. The pad is made of expanded aluminum and coated with a non-toxic hydrophilic material that distributes water evenly. Over time, minerals build up on the pad, preventing warm air from circulating efficiently. To maximize the performance of your humidifier, it is recommended that you replace the GA35 Vapor Pad filter at least once a season.
The GA35 Vapor Pad humidifier filter measures exactly 1.75″ X 10.25″ X 13.25″. The box contains 3 filters.
Please note: the pad is not cleanable. By trying to remove the deposits, you may remove the hydrophilic coating as well. If this happens, your humidifier will be unable to provide humidity to your home. To avoid any inconvenience and to ensure the proper operation of your unit, we recommend that you follow the manufacturer’s recommendations and replace the filter when required.
