The C7089R3013 gives your ElitePRO thermostat the real outdoor temperature and humidity at your home, measured on site rather than read from the internet. Mounted on an exterior wall, it talks wirelessly to the thermostat through RedLINK 3.0 technology.
With a reliable outdoor reading, the thermostat manages a heat pump and a dual fuel system better (switching to backup heat based on outdoor temperature), displays the outdoor temperature and protects your windows from condensation by adjusting humidification in extreme cold.
