Description

Thanks to its higher level of filtration, the MERV 13 filters will filter out much smaller particles than a filter with a MERV lower. The higher the MERV rating is, the higher the level of filtration will be effective with small particles. Several studies have shown that the filtering of the air is the best way to improve the quality of indoor air. So this it’s the MERV who will determine if the filter is effective or not. A good quality of indoor air significantly reduces the symptoms of asthma and allergies, especially for children.

 

Design

This filter is made from 100% recycled paper, it has been specifically designed to meet the standard for green buildings (LEED). The media of the air filter is glued on a metal gate of the outgoing air side, which prevents the wobbling while keeping uniformity of the filter and folds. The filter is placed in a cardboard box against moisture, which is what makes them so unique design. The filter media are integrated on the frame of the filter, the media is then glued on each part of the frame, thus preventing any possibility of air leakage. The MERV 13 filters are manufactured with 100% recycled materials and conform to ASHRAE 52.2.

 

Advantage

The furnace filters sold in retail store have a lifetime much shorter than the Aerostar filters, this ensures that you have to change them more often. Dirty filters or neglected can cause breakage on your HVAC equipment. Filters are made with a different filtering process, they accumulate the heavier and more restrictive particles at the bottom of the folds, leaving the open sides of the filter which allows a much more effective filtration during the use of the filter.
